Vertical Forest

Located in a narrow site where old towns still exist, this house is designed to create spaces one would feel nature.

By putting a court with trees that penetrates all the three floors, one would see the trees everywhere in the house.Although the volume is tiny, this ‘Vertical Forest’ is like a small universe for residents and it brings the light and wind into all the spaces.

Living in this house is like living in the wildlife nature.

昔ながらの街が残る地域の狭小地に建てられる住宅です。

内部で自然を感じられる空間を考えました。三層のボリュームを貫く中庭をつくり、各部屋から自然の樹木を臨むことが出来ます。

この小さな「垂直の森」は住まい手に取って小さな宇宙となり、各部屋に光と風を呼び込み、自然と共に住まう住空間となるでしょう。
