Water Oval

Located in a forest, this museum is designed with the intention that the building provide quiet spaces to concentrate seeing arts while being cut off from the ordinary life.

The oval volume tenderly enfolds the spaces, the thick curved glass strongly sustains the roof.

Three walls of exposed concrete would divide spaces while they resist the force of earthquakes.

Large curved wall of exposed concrete creates calm passage to the building, bringing people to the spaces of exhibitions with transparent minds.

When water flows in from the roof, spaces inside would be detached from outside as well as beauty of the stream of water come into being.

The serene silhouette would also give people around the building peace of minds.
