• Notice of YDS’s relocation

  On August 27, 2025, YDS moved to a new office and resumed operations.

  The new address is Takahashi Building 4F, 3-2 Kanda-Jimbo-cho, Chiyoda, Tokyo.

  All of YDS’s employees are feeling afresh in this new environment, with the Imperial Palace and Yasukuni Shrine right in front of us.

  We are very pleased to be working in such a historic area, surrounded by the Jimbocho used bookstore district.

• Notice about YDS’s summer vacation

  YDS will be closed for the summer holidays from Wednesday, August 13th to Monday, August 18th, 2025.

  We will resume business on Tuesday, August 19th after the Obon holiday.

• Innovative Education for kids

  YDS aims to use ideas and design to create “educational spaces that develop children’s creativity.”

  On our separate website, “New Educational Voyage”, we introduce stories related to developing children’s creativity.

  YDS thinks about “education for children” from various perspectives, looking at educational institutions both in Japan and abroad, as well as educational institutions that once existed.

  A special article about our company was published in the May 2024 issue of the  “Architecture Journal”.

  The cover is of Sanshi Forests Apartment.

  Three memorable works for us. From page 8 onwards, photos and drawings of my work are posted.

  House-O, a renovated wooden detached house, has a forests of pillars.

  House-T brings the sky into the interior space and silences light and wind.

  Also,15 of our most cherished drawings from our past works has been lined up.

• UK : Global Excellence Awards

  We are thrilled to announce that we have won the UK’s Global Excellence Awards.

  We would like to express our gratitude to all the building owners who request design, and to all the construction companies, builders, and designers who work with us on design and construction.

  Our past works and the ideas YDS is currently designing were highly evaluated.

  We would like to continue to design works that will be highly praised around the world for the owners.

• Completion : Project-S

  Project-S, which mainly consists of a tea room, has been completed.

  This work is based on the theme of the transition of light and shadow.

  The light from the two slits invigorates the space with ever-changing light.
