YDS

This is the headquarter building and the shop annex of Okano printing company.The volume for shop has high-side windows from which lights would illuminate the space. People working there would be able to feel the transition of the light by these windows.

YDS  put a courtyard between these two spaces, and it would articulate the shop and the office by bringing natural light.

The tree in the courtyard is seen from the inside and the entrance porch, so the tree would grow with the company and illustrate the interior space.
